Time for the Chookpen's annual service, so it was up to the Gold Coast.

The Darling River at Wentworth where it meets the Murray River. Plenty of water here.

Barellan (Evonne Goolagong Cawley territory)

Some true legends from Eugowra. The butcher here makes fabulous snags.

We have truly loved travelling this great country but its time to explore other horizons so for now, its goodbye "From the Chookpen"

BROKEN HILL NSW

The "Silver City", what a fabulous place. We stopped out at the racecourse. History, art, old buildings, great pubs, scenery, wonderful locals, this place has it all.

The Living Desert Flora and Fauna Sanctuary is where the Broken Hill Sculptures sit on top of hills in the desert reserve.  The Sculptures comprise 12 sandstone artworks which highlight the skyline, all with a story to tell.  The sculptures were completed in 1993 by artists from around the world.
