STRAHAN

We absolutely love Strahan, a picture postcard village on the west coast surrounded by wildernesss. Saw a platypus again too but no photo.

 

 

 

We took in the play "The Ship that Never Was"  ..................fantastic.

We went for a day trip on the Wilderness Railway towards Queenstown. Jumped off at a few places for walks.......... great day out.

RAILTON & A LITTLE BIT OF THE NORTH WEST

 

We headed out to Latrobe Railton area for a few days. Lovely towns where you can camp in the townsite and explore what it has to offer. Railton also has its own boutique brewery...........wonderful beers. The topiary throughout the town is outstanding.

Ulverstone is a pretty town. Camped right next to beach. Beautiful weather but still not inviting enough to have a swim.
