MENINDEE NSW

We drove the 100 odd klms from Broken Hill out to Menindee. It was devastating to see the effects of the drought out here.

A little bit more of SA & then across to BROKEN HILL NSW



Leaving Peterborough we headed down to Burra for a little looksee before we headed eastwards to Broken Hill in NSW.

Heading northwards to Terowie. It was here where during WW2 General MacArthur alighted from the train travelling from Darwin to Melbourne and made his famous " I Shall Return" speech.

FLINDERS RANGES SA

Drive up from Adelaide was fabulous. Flinders Ranges blew us away. The drives, the walks, the colours, absolutely magnificent. This wonderful country just keeps on giving. We took hundreds of photos.
