SOUTH CENTRAL QUEENSLAND, SUNSHINE COAST

We have just been ambling around, stopping for a few days here and there and just enjoying life.

 Coal Mine at Moura

We found a terrific place to stay at Monto, stayed the week. Lovely welcoming town. Great butcher and bakery.

View from the loo.

Found this to be a novel idea. Decided to try express lane once, too.

Lucky to have landed in Kenilworth on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland during an arts festival. Had a great time. Poets breakfast was an absolute hoot and the art was stunning.

Ventured into Noosa Heads but found it to be a bit overwhelming. Too hectic for us. It appears we enjoy a slower pace these days. Headed down the coast and found Mooloolaba a nicer place to stay.

Glasshouse Mountains in the distance.

Storm brewing at Beenleigh. We have been lucky so far with all the thunderstorms happening around south east QLD at the moment, we seem to be just skirting around them.

Heading down to one of our favourite places on the Tweed Coast, Pottsville. Hope to bunker in for a couple of weeks.
