1ST WEEK IN TASSIE

Have landed in Tassie and loving it. Trip over on the "Spirit of Tasmania" was good. Apart from both of us sleeping upside down for parts of the journey we were told it was a smooth trip. We are  just roaming about the countryside at the moment heading in a southward direction.

 Journey from Devonport to Sheffield

1st day stopover at Sheffield - greeted with snow on the mountain peaks.

Sheffield is the town of murals. Here are just a few.

 Mt Roland overlooking Sheffield

Onwards to Deloraine

 Love a unique "dunny"

We were lucky enough to spot a platypus ....... amazing.

View from the loo at "Old Mac's Farm" in Launceston. What a fantastic set up on his farm for travellers.

Evandale, great little village

Oldest "red brick" convict built bridge in Australia at Campbell Town

 Bridge at Ross

View over the wetlands at campground at Oatlands

 Kempton

Not moving today. Wind gusts up to 90 klm per hour. Bunkered in at Kempton.
