DERBYand onwards to KUNUNURRA, ORD RIVER LAKE ARGYLE CRUISE and then KIMBERLEY FLIGHT



Back in Derby for a few days before we head along the black top and eastwards over to Kununurra.

Heading past Fitzroy Crossing we stopped at Mimbi Caves, camped overnight and did a tour of the caves the next day.

Ivanhoe Crossing

 Not for the faint hearted

We took a drive from Kununurra out to Lake Argyle and visited the old Argyle Downs Homestead.




Next we went on a cruise up the Ord River from Kununurra to Lake Argyle and then did a sunset cruise around the lake. Absolutely fabulous. We took 426 photos this day. here are a few of our favourites.




 
 The pump house below pumps water from the Ord River upwards to the irrigation channels for farming purposes.

Next day we took to the air for the most fantastic flight over the East Kimberley. Breathtaking!!!!!! 526 photos this day.
