SAUNTERING ALONG THE MURRAY

Had a lovely couple of weeks in Albury Wodonga, caught up with friends, toured the area and just generally relaxed. A great place in this wonderful country of ours.

View over Albury from War Memorial

Camped out at Lake Hume

 Does he look the part???????

The "Blowhole" at Tocumal NSW. Legend has it that it blows when the Murray River is low. Who are we to argue.

Further along the Murray to Echuca, Vic.

The "Great Aussie Beer Shed" at Echuca.  Over 16,000 beer cans from Australia and around the world and other brewery related items.  Beer tap tops and tap handles, trays, old wooden beer barrels, bottles, you name it and it was there. An absolute highlight of our travels. You get a stubby holder and a choice of beers to drink as you wander about, all part of the admission price. You can guess Kel is writing this........bloody sensational.

Did I mention it was fantastic!!!!!

Further along the Murray we go, stopping whenever.

Interesting houseboat at Renmark SA

Banrock Station Winery, Kingston on Murray, SA
