ADELAIDE SA

What a fabulous City Adelaide is. We have loved our time here. Wonderful wide streets, beautiful parks and gardens. An absolute joy to wander about.

Crossing the mighty Murray at Murray Bridge

Here are our digs at Brownhill Creek. A walk around the nature reserve every morning, (well almost every morning) and only a 15 min journey into the City.

see these little beauties most days.

The Beatles came to Adelaide and no one has forgotten........... loved it.

Went for a wander through the Botanical Gardens.

Took a river cruise along the Torrens on the "Popeye"

The tour of Adelaide Oval was brilliant.

the roar of the crowd as they enter the arena

As Richie would say................Its 2 for 222

 St Peters Cathedral

The Library

 The Post Office

Port Adelaide was a favourite destination but we still love Freo.

Semaphore Beach nr the Port.........great fish n chips

A short drive up in the Adelaide Hills is the german village of Hahndorf.........Brathurst and sourgraut, Black Forrest cake, yummee.

 we found this amusing.........................

Another day out was the Barossa Valley, Maggie Beer's Farm the highlight

The Whispering Wall.........yes it does

Victor Harbor , about 80 klms south of Adelaide was a lovely seaside town. We have marked this  down for a future stay, 1 day does not do it justice.
