THE NATION'S CAPITAL

We made it to Canberra and we loved it. After being disappointed initially with the road entry into Canberra and its surrounds (thinking it needed a good scrub), from Parliament House to Old Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, National Gallery and the most interesting Museum you could imagine, we had to leave after a week, our minds exploding through information overload, determined to visit again. Here are a few happy snaps.

We travelled out to the nearby village of Bungendore and found this fantastic pub.

A couple of quirky signs were to be found

Plans are to head down to Albury Wodonga, put our feet up for a couple of weeks and then saunter along the Murray River into South Australia.
